KARACHI: Pakistan Women Under-19 defeated South Africa Women Under-19 by 47 runs in the fourth Youth T20I at the National Stadium, Karachi.
Batting first, Pakistan posted 125 for 4 in their 20 overs, built around a fine innings of 68 off 64 balls by Ravail Farhan, who was named Player of the Match.
South Africa’s reply never got going. The visitors were bowled out for just 78 in 17.1 overs as Pakistan’s bowlers shared the wickets and kept the scoring rate under pressure throughout.
The win adds to a competitive youth series between the two sides in Karachi, being played in clear conditions at the National Stadium with an all-Pakistani officiating panel.
