Faisalabad Police Return Stolen Valuables Worth Over Rs100 Million to Owners After House Theft Arrest

Faisalabad police hand over recovered stolen valuables worth over Rs100 million

Faisalabad police have returned stolen cash, jewellery, watches and other valuables worth more than Rs100 million to their rightful owners, following the arrest of a suspect in a major house theft case.

Police said the valuables had been stolen from the house of Muhammad Hassan. Acting on the directions of City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain, Nishatabad Station House Officer (SHO) Sajid Mahmood used modern technology to trace and arrest a suspect allegedly involved in the theft. The stolen property, valued at over Rs100 million, was subsequently recovered from the accused’s possession.

CPO Tanveer Hussain handed over the recovered valuables to their owners at the Community Engagement Centre in Police Lines, Faisalabad. The affected citizens expressed happiness at getting their belongings back and thanked the CPO and the police team for their efforts.

Appreciating the investigating team, the CPO commended SHO Sajid Mahmood and Moharrir Muhammad Naveed for their role in the recovery. Police said the use of modern technology in tracing the suspect was central to the breakthrough, and that returning recovered property promptly to its owners remains a priority for the district police.

Faisalabad police have stepped up enforcement across the district in recent weeks, including a zero-tolerance crackdown on kite flying ordered by the regional police chief, as part of a wider push to protect life and property. Officials say operations against theft, robbery and other street crime continue, with a focus on tracing stolen goods and arresting those involved.

The case remains under investigation, and police have not released further details about the suspect at this stage. The recovery is among the largest single returns of stolen property reported by Faisalabad police this year, and officers say it shows the value of combining traditional investigation with modern tracing tools.
